Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language (TKFL) is an open access double-blind reviewed journal from the Korean Language Institute (KLI). Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language publishes research within the area of Korean language education as a foreign language. Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language has been one of the Korea Citation Index (hereafter referred to as KCI) Accredited Journals by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) since 2010 and indexed in the KCI [1].
The mission of Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language is to promote the theoretical and practical understanding in Korean language teaching and learning, teaching Korean as a foreign, second or heritage language, Korean language teachers’ training and education and other related areas. Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language welcomes manuscripts that advance theoretical discussions in Korean language education, and that report empirical researches on Korean language teaching and language acquisition.
[1] KCI is a multidisciplinary citation index maintained by the NRF. Those journals accredited by KCI are described as the Korea’s outstanding journals.
